Welcome

The Neighborhood Health Project (NHP) is a free, student-run clinic that provides screenings for hypertension and diabetes. We offer blood pressure and blood glucose level checks, healthcare and lifestyle counseling, and resources for those in the New Haven community seeking low-cost primary care. NHP also coordinates free flu vaccine clinics at select times during the year.

Our mission is to provide health screenings and education as well as improve access to healthcare for low-income patient populations in the New Haven community. We also aim to educate and train future health professionals in the collaborative practice of medicine and community health.

We operate most Saturdays of the year, running from 8:00 - 10:30 AM with the exception of Yale University academic winters and spring breaks, holidays, and at the discretion of the clinic leadership team.
